Course Information
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) program offered through the Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) Adult and Continuing Education department recently received accreditation by PSW Educational Program Accreditation (PEPA) from the Ontario Community Support Association.
About the PSW Program in the SCDSB:
- 360 hours of in-class instruction
- 330 hours of clinical workplace experience
- 6 months for completion of the full-time program (approximately)
- 12 months for completion of the part-time program (approximately)
- 125 graduates per year across the county (on average)
